Identify and recommend of biofouling organisms of marine cage culture fish in South of Qeshm Island (Authomn)

Abstract

Identification and recommend of biofouling organisms in fish culture cages in south of Qeshm Island was carried out during the autumn of 1397 in Talayeh daran cage culture company. Distance of cages from beach was 1250 m nearly and depth of water in seating of cages was 28-30 m. The cage was divided into three sections: upper, middle and lower, and information related to identify and species density were studied. During of sampling biofouling were in 4 phylum contains Arthropoda, Foraminifera, Annelida and Mollusca. In upper section 4 phylums, 4 classes, 7 orders, 11 families and 8 species of biofouling organisms identified. In middle of cage section 3 phylums, 4 classes, 7 orders, 12 families and 7 species of biofouling organisms observed and in lower of cage 3 phylums, 4 classes, 7 orders, 6 families and 9 species of biofouling organisms identified. Totally in sampling season 4 phylums, 5 classes, 9 orders, 16 families and 15 species of biofouling organisms observed.
