Abstract

In order to try to measure the spread and impact of human activities, we need to estimate the extent to which humans consume the environment, or in other words, the biosphere that meets human needs. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and quantitative. Due to the fact that the purpose of the study is the energy sector, so the calculations of water consumption, production waste and landfill and fuel consumption were performed based on the micro and Wackernagl 1996 calculation method. Also, calculations were performed in Tehran and District 22 of Tehran and at the end, the desired indicators were analyzed based on a questionnaire by fuzzy logic method. Considering the population of 8679926 people in Tehran and the population of 175398 people living in 22 urban areas, the average ecological footprint of each resident in Tehran and in 22 urban areas is hectares. The demand for land bio-capacity in consumption cases related to energy consumption and the factors affecting it in the 22nd district of Tehran is about 289,292 hectares and the ecological footprint in total is estimated at 0.0312 hectares. Priority of organizing educational programs in order to improve the level of general knowledge, respectively, the most power in the field of electricity consumption knowledge in homes, then energy consumption knowledge in Iran, then knowledge related to energy policy and pricing in Iran, knowledge of energy resources. Strengthening public information through radio and television programs, the press and education are efforts that can be helpful.
