[English]

The main purpose of this paper is to identify and prioritize Iran's shrimp export target markets. For this purpose, first all shrimp importing countries were selected during the period 2014 to 2018. Then, according to criteria such as the average of total shrimp imports during the period under review, the ratio of shrimp imports by the country to total global shrimp imports, the ratio of shrimp imports to total imports of the country, the ratio of net shrimp imports to imports by the country, the advantage of the country in shrimp imports and the average growth of shrimp imports; All countries were screened and finally 22 countries were selected. In the next stage, based on market attractiveness indices including Gini coefficient, average economic growth, and population growth in the coming years, GDP per capita, geographical distance, country risk index and geographical distance using TOPSIS technique, 10 countries, respectively. Priorities for exporting Iranian shrimp were determined. The results show that South Korea, Romania, Japan, Vietnam, China, Hungary, Peru, Spain, Albania and the Czech Republic are ranked first to tenth for Iranian shrimp exports, respectively. Therefore, it is suggested that aquaculture exporters pay more attention to the target market of these countries and the tastes of their consumers.
