Abstract

Leeches are very useful creatures, so they are used in the medical industry. The main problems of leeches breeding are high losses and water quality pollution. One of the effective ways to use water-improving probiotics is to improve water quality and reduce losses and increase survival and production. This study was performed using two new probiotics (HC, SA) in an experiment with 10 treatments in leech glass containers. The results show that the concentration of both probiotics used in 7.5 cc per liter in treatment 9 was more suitable than other treatments, so the possibility of using this concentration of probiotics in leeches breeding was actually able to grow more. Also, using quantitative strategic planning matrix coefficient, the main influential factors in leech breeding industry in leech breeding parameters in not using probiotics number 10 and in experimental parameters using commercial probiotics number 16 which is very practical. Finally, determining the future of leech breeding in Iran in order to meet domestic needs and exports and currency and competition in global markets is the use of new probiotic improvers that can be very important in increasing the survival and production of leeches.
