Abstract
The present study investigated sperm motility parameters (sperm motility duration, sperm motility percentage), spermatocrit and concentration and some biological aspects of sperm by determination of seminal plasma indices (ionic and organic composition in Beluga, Huso huso,). Survey was done on 8 wild fish and 8 cultured fish during March and April in 2017 in Propagation and Culture of Sturgeons center, Shahid Marjani, in Gorgan Sperm motility duration, sperm motility percentage, spermatocrit and sperm concentration in wild Beluga were measured 310±61.65, 81.11±6.31, 2.33±0.31, 2.50±0.36 and in cultured Beluga were determined 170.43±34.61, 65.63±5.81, 1.26±0.23, 1.41±0.28 respectively. The concentrations of Sodium (Na+), Potassium (K+), Calcium (Ca2+) and Magnesium (Mg2+) ions were in wild Beluga were measured 99.36±9.47, 4.96±0.40, 7.75±0.44 and 1.15±0.15 MmL-1 and incultured Beluga were determined 98.29±10.40, 5.03±0.28, 7.76±0.47 and 2.12±0.24 MmL-1 respectively. The concentrations of cholesterol and glucose in wild Beluga were measured 49.33±8.77, 32.65±2.12 and in cultured Beluga were determined 47.47±4.78, 32.21±1.66 respectively. Also Seminal plasma in wild Beluga and cultured Beluga was contained 1.10±0.27, 1.33±0.29 mg/dl protein respectively. Studies showed that between duration of motility, motility and concentration Magnesium (Mg2+) ions in wild Beluga and cultured there are significant difference.
