The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of substitution plant proteins of sesame meal with fish meal on growth performance, some body compostion and blood parameters in the Rutilus frisii kutum. to carry out the test, the number of 600 fishes weighing 1 to 3 grams with 40 densities located in 15 pools. Feeding done with rations containing different levels of sesame meal includes 4 treatments with 10,20,30 and 40 percent of sesame meal substitution with fish meal and one control treatment (without sesame meal). results of evaluation of growth and body compostion showed that the highest weight gain and specific growth rate and the lowest feed conversion ratio were observed in control treatment which had a significant difference with other treatments (p<0.05). the highest amount of moisture, protein and low amount of fat were observed in control treatment, which had a significant difference with other treatments (p<0.05). the results of blood factors showed that the highest levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit and MCHC were observed in control treatment. Also, the highest total protein, albumin, globulin, triglyceride and cholesterol were observed in control treatmentwhich showed statistically significant difference with other treatments (p<0.05). this study showed that the inclusion of different levels of sesame meal instead of fish meal in Rutilus frisii kutum had a negative effect on growth parameters but had no negative effect on blood factors.
